Within the last few days the Air Force has "grounded" all
of their SIG 320 Pistols. They are issuing M-4 shorty rifles in their
place.
Also Gunsite no longer permits the use of SIG 320 pistols in their training programs.
It
is hard to say how much of this is WE NO LONGER TRUST THEM and how much
is WE ARE CONCERNED ABOUT LIABILITY IF SOMETHING HAPPENS...
In any case it certainly isn't going to help SIG convince people that there is nothing intrinsically wrong with the gun.

If I accidentally step in a pile of dog shit, I don't have to taste it to make sure it's really dog shit. Enough already. How many accidental discharges with injury or death will it take for Sig to realize something is wrong with this pistol?
