CA SUING TESLA

The California DMV is attempting to shut down TESLA sales and manufacturing in CA for 30 days.  They are alleging that Tesla has grossly exaggerated the self-driving capabilities of Tesla vehicles to the point that it is unfair to TESLA customers.  The matter is being heard today in a courtroom in Oakland.

The suit was originally filed in 2022 and amended in 2023.  The anti-Tesla crowd asserts that the cars have killed 58 people while running on auto-drive.  Tesla asserts that the auto-drive feature is not a head-up-the-ass program and does require some level of driver oversight.

One of the more interesting wrecks referenced occurred on the Bay Bridge and is fully documented on video.  The car in question simply stopped for no obvious reason, piling up total of  seven more cars behind it.
