TRAFFIC STOP FROM HELL LEADS TO DIGITAL ANAL SEARCHES, ENEMAS AND COLONOSCOPY (UPDATE)

New Mexico cops and doctors subjected a minor traffic violator to two digital anal exams, three enemas and a colonoscopy, all because he clenched his butt when he was stopped

On January 2, 2013, Hidalgo County Sheriff’s deputies and City of Deming cops got doctors to subject David Eckert, a minor traffic violator, to two digital anal exams, three enemas and a colonoscopy. Why did they do this? It was because the luckless driver clenched his butt during the traffic stop. That led the cops to believe he was concealing drugs up his ass. I wonder if it ever occurred to the cops that the driver may have clenched his butt to keep from shitting in his pants.

I posted a report of this incident on November 10. It has just been reported that a lawsuit brought by David Eckert against the Hidalgo County Sheriff’s Department and the City of Deming for ravaging his ass has been settled. Eckert was awarded $1.6 million.

Eckert also sued the doctors who repeatedly searched his ass and the Gila Regional Medical Center where the invasive searches were conducted. That lawsuit is still ongoing. I suspect he will get a hefty settlement from them too.

When all is said and done, the awards should restore a normal color back to Eckert’s red ass.

Now if New Mexico would just send the offending cops back to the insane asylum where they must have recruited them, that would give meaning to the law enforcement slogan: Protect and Serve.
