THE BIDEN-LOVING MEDIA HAS FINALLY ADMITTED THE POST'S HUNTER LAPTOP STORIES WERE TRUE

The media avoided the ties between Joe Biden and Hunter’s laptop

Hunter Biden - Image from Hunter Biden's laptop. Hunter Biden laptop. Eighteen months after the New York Post broke the Hunter Biden laptop story, the Washington Post validated its findings

Wonders never cease. First the New York Times. Then CNN. Now the Washington Post has caught up with the Hunter Biden laptop story — only 18 months after the New York Post broke the scandal, and too late for the 2020 election.

But now, after our story was censored by Big Tech and dismissed as “Russian disinformation” by Democratic prevaricator Adam Schiff, and 51 former spooks led by former CIA Director John Brennan, apparently it’s safe to admit the laptop is real and the emails we published can be easily authenticated.

Of course, they all avoid the inevitable conclusion to be drawn from evidence contained on the laptop that the president’s drug-addled son Hunter abandoned at a MacBook repair shop in Delaware in April 2019: that Joe Biden, when he was vice president, was aware of, and intimately involved in, a corrupt, multimillion-dollar, international influence-peddling scheme run by Hunter, and Joe’s brother Jim Biden, in the countries for which Joe was point man in the Obama administration, such as Russia, Ukraine and China.

Hunter’s laptop is a large piece of the jigsaw puzzle that leads to such a shocking conclusion.

But despite acknowledging that the material on the laptop showed that Hunter was “trading on his father’s name to make a lot of money,” as CNN White House correspondent John Harwood put it, both the Washington Post and CNN were at pains to absolve Joe Biden of any involvement in the scheme.

“There is zero evidence that Vice President Biden, or President Biden, has done anything wrong in connection with what Hunter Biden has done,” Harwood said.

Hunter Biden - Image from Hunter Biden's laptop.Hunter abandoned the laptop at a MacBook repair shop in Delaware in April 2019. Material from Hunter’s infamous laptop was entered into the Congressional Record on Tuesday at the request of Republican lawmakers

The Washington Post declared it “did not find evidence that Joe Biden personally benefited from or knew details about the transactions with [Chinese energy company] CEFC, which took place after he had left the vice presidency and before he announced his intentions to run for the White House in 2020.”

A New York Times piece earlier this month that also belatedly acknowledged that the veracity of the laptop — in the 24th paragraph — did not explicitly exonerate the president but simply rehearsed the legal defenses that Hunter could mount if he is indicted by the Delaware grand jury investigating him over alleged tax evasion, money laundering and violations of the Foreign Agents Registration Act.

No doubt these august media organs that treated our story with sneering disregard for a year and a half have their reasons for jumping on board. For one thing, their original goal of removing President Donald Trump from office was achieved long ago, and Joe Biden is now so unpopular that his Praetorian Guard is melting away and reporting on his family is less hazardous to Beltway dinner party invitations.

For another thing, they can’t have their audiences blindsided when the US attorney in Delaware completes his investigation of Hunter. God forbid that their readers and viewers wake up to the fact they have been misled and kept in the dark by their media outlets of choice.

Leaving out facts

But instead of providing its readers with the whole truth, and nothing but the truth, the Washington Post curiously left out crucial facts in two detailed stories about the laptop on Tuesday that totaled a hefty near 7,000 words.

Hunter Biden         Joe Biden declared "I'm proud of my son" after the Post and the Daily Mail exposed the scandal

The main story was titled “Inside Hunter Biden’s multimillion-dollar deals with a Chinese energy company: A Washington Post review confirms key details and offers new documentation of Biden family interactions with Chinese executives.”

It goes into detail about Hunter Biden’s business dealings with the state-controlled Chinese energy conglomerate CEFC — which it doesn’t mention was the capitalist arm of China’s “Belt and Road Initiative,” an imperialist pet project of President Xi Jinping that aims to entrap developing countries with massive loans and overtake the United States as an economic power.

But it does not mention the $6 million CEFC wired into the business bank account of trusted Biden family friend Rob Walker, a former Clinton administration official whose wife, Betsy Massey Walker, had been Jill Biden’s assistant when she was second lady. On Feb. 23, 2017, and March 1, 2017, two wires, each for $3 million, were sent to Rob Walker from State Energy HK Limited, a Shanghai-based company linked to CEFC.

That money was payment for work done by Hunter and his business partners during the last two years of Joe Biden’s vice presidency in countries from Romania to Russia, using the Biden name to open doors and find acquisitions for CEFC.

Nor does the Washington Post mention the company SinoHawk Holdings, which was set up on May 15, 2017, for a joint venture between CEFC and Hunter and his business partners. This was the deal for which Joe Biden was to get a 10% cut, as cited in an infamous 2017 email on the laptop, “10 [percent] held by H [Hunter] for the big guy.”

Hunter’s former business partner, the CEO of SinoHawk, Tony Bobulinski, has publicly said that Joe Biden is the “big guy.” But the Washington Post curiously does not mention Bobulinski, even though his name is all over the emails and documents on the laptop relating to CEFC, and even though the naval veteran held a press conference spilling the beans on the Bidens in October 2020.

It does not mention that Bobulinski met Joe Biden twice in 2017, to be vetted as CEO of SinoHawk.

Curious omissions

Considering the newspaper says it has had possession of a hard-drive clone of Hunter’s laptop since June 2021, these are curious omissions, which serve to underplay Joe Biden’s role.

“It’s clear the corporate media was complicit in helping get Joe Biden elected by suppressing what they knew would be damaging stories,” says Republican Sen. Ron Johnson of Wisconsin, who with GOP Sen. Chuck Grassley of Iowa conducted an investigation into Hunter Biden and was accused by Democrats of peddling “Russian disinformation” for his trouble.

“The Washington Post story should be viewed as what Nixon’s advisers once termed as a ‘modified limited hangout,’ ” he says, using a propaganda phrase that means releasing a small amount of hidden information in order to hide the more important details.

Hunter Biden - Image from Hunter Biden's laptop.Sen. Ron Johnson was accused by Democrats of peddling “Russian disinformation” for conducting an investigation into Hunter Biden.

Another piece of the Biden jigsaw puzzle was provided by Johnson and Grassley’s inquiry that accessed confidential “suspicious-activity reports” that banks are required to send to the Treasury Department, and allowed them to track millions of dollars from China, Russia, Ukraine and Kazakhstan paid into accounts associated with Hunter and Jim Biden and their associates.

Johnson says their inquiry was stymied by Democrats, who set up fake FBI briefings for him and then leaked details to the press to cast doubt on witnesses he wanted to subpoena, such as Hunter and his partners.

But it was also his own Republican committee members who got in the way, denying Johnson the numbers he needed to subpoena witnesses when his party had the power.

Johnson won’t name them, but Sens. Mitt Romney and Rob Portman were two Republicans who reportedly objected to the “political” nature of the subpoenas.

Johnson and Grassley have been vindicated now, but imagine how different history would have been if they had been supported by their own team. Joe Biden probably would not be president today.

DIE HARD: THE FEUD BETWEEN BRUCE WILLIS AND CYBILL SHEPHERD

Every actor loves Bruce Willis, except ONE: Inside star's decades-long feud with Cybill Shepherd A rivalry between Cybill Shepherd and Bruce Willis produced problems during the filming of 'Moonlighting'

'Moonlighting' enchanted television viewers from 1985 through 1989 and featured Bruce Willis and Cybill Shepherd in star-making performances. The show followed their two characters as they ran a private detective service, but the show's attraction was based on the chemistry of the two dynamic stars.

Following Shepherd's hiring as Maddie Hayes, the producers brought in a total of 20 actors to audition for the role of co-lead David Addison, but none of them clicked with Shepherd. In 2005, Shepherd acknowledged to Entertainment Weekly that "But with Bruce, the temperature in the room went 20 degrees higher." However, there was a lot of tension associated with that direct connection. The sexual tension between Willis and Shepherd was intense at times, as shown by the blockbuster series.

I believe my late wife and I watched every one of the 66 episodes of Moonlighting because it was our favorite TV show at the time (ed.)

Willis went over to Shepherd's house one night after the two decided to act on their impulses. In 2000, she told the Scottish Daily Record & Sunday (via The Free Library), "It wasn't long before we were passionately sucking face." Kissing was the most they were willing to go. Shepherd remarked, "We never did finish what we started." The conflict between Shepherd and Willis' characters was not made up.

According to NPR, their co-star Curtis Armstrong claimed in his book 'Revenge of the Nerd' in 2017 that "Yes, Bruce Willis and Cybill Shepherd hated each other." This caused problems with their crew. "Cybill and Bruce were very unhappy, and it was very hard to be around," Allyce Beasley, a co-star on the show, told Closer in 2019. Willis and Shepherd afterwards spoke up about their rivalry.

Willis officially confessed that he had a strained relationship with his former co-star in 1990, not long after the series ended, but refused to trash her. On "The Arsenio Hall Show," Willis declared, "I'm not gonna play that game." He did confess, though, that "I mean it, we didn't get along very well on that show. I will say that. The "Die Hard" actor blamed his rocky relationship with Shepherd on his rigorous working schedule. He added on the late-night show, "It's a hard thing to do, and I have no hard feelings." Years later, the estranged actors were reunited in "Moonlighting."

One of the primary concerns between Bruce Willis and Cybill Shepherd, according to reports, was how his reputation rose after filming 1988's box office sensation 'Die Hard'. Willis' fame and pay rate skyrocketed as a result of the film's success. When asked about her 'Moonlighting' co-star's pay, Shepherd told The Morning Call in 1989, "Sure I feel competitive, and it bugs the hell out of me. But I'm basically very happy for him. I kind of feel as if I share in his success, as if maybe I had something to do with."

After a while, the two stars reflected fondly on their time together. Shepherd and Willis reconnected to record DVD commentary for 'Moonlighting', and they not only avoided fighting, but they also had a good time. Shepherd told Broadway Buzz in 2012, "It was wonderful to see him again." Her perspective has been shaped by her time away from the show. "When you've done something so great, it takes a while to really understand how wonderful the show was..." she added.

Willis expressed a similar perspective regarding his experience on the iconic '80s sitcom when he spoke about it the following year. He told HuffPost in 2012, "I have a lot of good memories about it — a lot of great memories about it," though he stopped short of praising Shepherd. Willis spoke about the show's "frantic pace" and how it "was a huge quantum leap for" his career. He and Shepherd are now both superstars in their own right.

Bruce Willis decided to retire from acting after being diagnosed with aphasia, a neurological ailment that hinders his ability to speak and has caused issues on set. After dealing with the illness for the last couple of years, the 67-year-old star decided to step away from his decades-long acting career. His daughter Rumer Willis took to Instagram to announce the news. "To Bruce’s amazing supporters, as a family we wanted to share that our beloved Bruce has been experiencing some health issues and has recently been diagnosed with aphasia, which is impacting his cognitive abilities. As a result of this and with much consideration Bruce is stepping away from the career that has meant so much to him.”

What is Aphasia?

Aphasia, the cognitive disorder that Bruce is suffering from, is a medical disease — which generally comes after a stroke or a brain injury. It can affect a person's ability to talk, write, and interpret spoken and written communications, according to the Mayo Clinic.  Aphasia can make it difficult to find the correct words or cause people to talk in short, disorganized phrases. Speech and language therapy can help to a certain extent.

ISRAELI CIVILIANS ARE ENCOURAGED TO CARRY GUNS

“This is the time to carry a gun,” Bennett tells citizens of Israel

Applications for firearms skyrocket in Israel amid new wave of terrorism, and that suits the prime minister just fine

Gun license applications have skyrocketed in Israel following the recent series of terror attacks, and that suits Prime Minister Naftali Bennett just fine.

In a video address to the nation on Wednesday, Bennett stated (emphasis ours):

“Citizens of Israel, we are currently experiencing a wave of murderous terrorism. What is expected of you, citizens of Israel? Alertness and responsibility. Open your eyes. Whoever has a license to carry a weapon, this is the time to carry it.

The prime minister and his security cabinet have been discussing ways to improve public safety in the wake of these horrific attacks, and more than once the idea of a volunteer civilian force has been floated.

At the very least, Bennett wants those who are licensed to carry a gun to arm themselves while in public. The first of the three latest attacks, a stabbing in Beersheva in which four people were killed, was ultimately halted by armed civilians.

On an average day, the Israel Ministry of Public Security receives no more than 60 applications for gun licenses.

The day after the Beersheva stabbing, 244 applications were received.

The Hadera shooting, in which two Border Police officers were killed, prompted 433 Israelis to apply for gun licenses.

And following this latest attack in Bnei Barak, applications skyrocketed to over 900 in one day.

CALIFORNIA LEGISLATURE ISN'T COMPLETELY CRAZY ..... AT LEAST NOT ALL THE TIME

by Bob Walsh

Today an interesting bill failed in committee in the legislature. It got only two votes.  The bill, if passed into law, would have required that parents report to their children's schools whether or not they own guns, how those guns are stored and what access, if any, their children have to the guns.

THOUGHTS ON THIS AND THAT

by Bob Walsh

I had occasion to go out and run a couple of errands today.  They both went strangely well.

The formerly great state of California has now approved a fourth Covid shot for old farts.  I went down to the Rite Aid pharmacy near one of my favorite local guns stores as that is where I had got my last three shots.  I figured there would be less BS attached.  I was in and out in less than ten minutes, including paperwork.

I then went to Home Depot to get some pressure treated 2X6X8 foot lumber for my deck rehab project.  (Deferred maintenance eventually bites you on the butt.)  It is still ridiculously expensive at $17 each, but the damn things were reasonably dry, weighing at least a third less than the ones I bought ten days ago.  Makes it much easier for an old fart like me to handle them.

I know it isn't much, but sometimes you can get a fairly significant amount of pleasure from small things going exactly right.

POOR LESLIE IS DISAPPOINTED AGAIN

Leslie Van Houten is now 72 years ago.  In 1971 she was an active participant in the notorious Tate - LaBiance murders.  She has been a guest of the state for over 50 years.  She was originally sentenced to death but when the CA death penalty was overturned by the courts she ended up sentenced to life with possibility of parole.  She has now been up for parole consideration several times.  The last five times the parole board has recommended her for parole.  The last five times the governor, at first Jerry Brown and now Gavin Newsom, have rejected the parole.

As far as I am concerned she should never be allowed to draw a free breath again.  She is a demented and dangerous POS.

CA REPARATIONS BILL MOVING ALONG

by Bob Walsh

The formerly great state of California is moving closer to approving paying out a shit-ton of state money to it's Black residents who can prove they are descended from Black folks held as slaves.  (Funny, but I seem to remember that there was never legal slavery inside the state of California nor the Republic of California and there never was a Territory of California.  I am puzzled as to why my tax money should be at risk for this project.)

The payment plan, assuming it is ever finally approved and budgeted, would (at this stage of the language) be set up for any person with at least one Black ancestor who was enslaved anywhere in the United States or who is descended from any free Black person who was in the United States prior to 1900.

Right now a committee, that has been looking at this question for over a year, has voted 5-4 to proceed under these parameters.

It is also not completely clear what form of reparations the California Reparations Task Force will recommend, or what the legislature's reaction to the final proposal will be.

BIDEN, LIKE OBAMA, IS APPEASING IRAN WITH HUNDREDS OF BILLIONS OF DOLLARS

Netanyahu Calls to Oppose ‘Dangerous’ Iran Deal, Warns Blinken Making ‘Big Mistake’

Netanyahu warns that the nuclear deal with Iran currently being pushed by the Biden administration would grant the Islamic Republic hundreds of billions of dollars to be used for “terror and aggression”

An impending nuclear deal with Iran currently being pushed by the Biden administration would grant the Islamic Republic hundreds of billions of dollars to be used for “terror and aggression” and wouldn’t avert its attaining of nuclear weapons, warned Israeli opposition leader and former Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who called to oppose the agreement that poses real danger to the U.S., Israel and the world, claiming top US diplomat Antony Blinken was “making a big mistake.”

In a video statement he shared on Twitter Sunday, Netanyahu — speaking in English — called the arrival in Israel of Arab foreign ministers “a welcome thing,” as top Arab diplomats of the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Morocco, and Egypt gathered at a historic summit together with Secretary of State Anthony Blinken and Israeli Foreign Minister Yair Lapid in the Jewish state.

Netanyahu called the meeting “a direct result of the Abraham Accords, which we brought,” in reference to the public normalization of relations between Arab countries and Israel due to former President Donald Trump’s breakthrough in finding a path to peace in the historically troubled region.

Noting that he had previously met the visiting ministers, the former Israeli prime minister said that strengthening the accords is “a good thing for peace” and Israel, before turning his attention to Secretary of State Antony Blinken.

“Having said that, I strongly disagree with Secretary of State Antony Blinken,” Netanyahu said. “I respect him personally but I think he’s making a big mistake.”

Netanyahu explained how a renewal of the Iran deal would boost the theocratic state’s deadly capabilities.

“Iran without the nuclear agreement is a poor country, an isolated country, a country that has no international legitimacy, and no immunity from the military option,” he said.

“[However,] Iran with a nuclear agreement becomes a rich country with hundreds of billions of dollars which they will use for terror and aggression; a country that breaks through the international isolation and receives immunity for military action,” he added.

He also warned of them of the worldwide dangers posed by a richer and more capable Iran.

“This agreement is dangerous for Israel, for the United States, and for the entire world,” he said. “It doesn’t prevent Iran from developing nuclear weapons or the means to deliver them to the United States and to Europe because they are allowed under the agreement to develop the ballistic missiles that can deliver atomic warheads.”

Netanyahu concluded by calling on all who seek peace and security to oppose efforts to renew the deal.

“So this agreement has to be opposed and that’s what I expect from the Israeli government and all people who are concerned with the security and peace of the world to do,” he said. “Oppose this agreement now.”

Earlier this month, Netanyahu warned that the Biden administration’s push for a nuclear deal with Iran would grant the Islamic Republic a “nuclear arsenal” in addition to billions in funds for sponsoring terror, adding that Tehran would pose a grave threat toward Americans and the world.

Netanyahu is not the only prominent figure to call out the United States’ handling of the Iran deal, especially in light of a recent Iranian missile strike near a sprawling U.S. consulate complex in the northern Iraqi city of Erbil.

“It would be completely insane for Biden to continue trying to make a deal with Iran after it attacked our consulate in Iraq with ballistic missiles. No talks. No concessions. No new Iran Deal,” wrote former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley.

“Joe Biden should stop negotiating with the leading state sponsor of terror and start holding Iran accountable for its actions,” tweeted Sen. Tom Cotton (R-AR).

“The Biden Admin is negotiating a nuclear deal with Iran that is likely even weaker than 2015 agreement. Meanwhile Iran is targeting our service members and diplomats,” wrote Sen. Todd Young (R-IN).

“We need to walk away from this very bad deal that will make us even more vulnerable,” he added.

“Iran is the world’s largest state sponsor of terror,” wrote former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo. “It must remain designated as such, and terrorist-related sanctions must remain in place.”

“Iran must never be allowed to have a nuclear weapon,” he added.

Iran, the largest state sponsor of terrorism worldwide, claims its nuclear program is for energy purposes, but world leaders, including the six nations that joined the 2015 deal to limit Iran’s nuclear weapons capacity, say enriching uranium may lead to Iran’s ability to quickly create a nuclear weapon.

The Obama-led nuclear deal — deemed fatally flawed and highly one-sided by many, and from which then-President Donald Trump withdrew in 2018 — delineates an enrichment limit of 3.67 percent.

Iran has been accused of violating the agreement as Tehran produces more enriched uranium.

Nevertheless, current nuclear talks in Vienna may see the United States and other world powers provide Iran with economic sanctions relief in exchange for temporary restrictions on its nuclear program.

According to a former State Department official, President Biden’s impending agreement to restore the Iran nuclear deal offers the regime access to $90 billion in foreign currency reserves and sanctions relief to some of the world’s worst terrorists.

Earlier this month, Russia’s envoy to the Iran nuclear talks admitted that Tehran “got much more than it could expect” in the latest iteration of the nuclear deal.

In August, Netanyahu revealed he had refused an offer from then-President Barack Obama’s Secretary of State John Kerry to adopt the now-failed “Afghanistan model,” which entailed relying upon Palestinian forces to counter terrorists.

“I estimated then that as soon as the United States left Afghanistan, everything would collapse. This is unfortunately what has happened these days: an extremist Islamic regime has conquered Afghanistan and will turn it into a state of terror that will endanger world peace,” he added.

How a New York sheriff is driving down MS-13’s gang presence in Suffolk County

By

New York Post

March 29, 2022

Suffolk County Sheriff Errol Toulon has made strides to combat the influx of MS-13 in Long Island, NY, including traveling to South America to learn about the gang's activities first hand. Suffolk County Sheriff Errol Toulon has made strides to combat the influx of MS-13 on Long Island, including traveling to South America to learn about its activities first-hand

Five years after Donald Trump vowed to end the brutal reign of MS-13 on Long Island, NY, Suffolk County Sheriff Errol Toulon Jr. is doing just that. But it’s also, apparently, pushing one of the country’s most violent gangs deeper into a borough of New York City.

Toulon, the first African American elected to the post, is widely credited with stalling the growth of the gang, which for years had a stronghold in the region.

“Information sharing is what’s really helping us to drive down MS-13,” Toulon told The Post.

Exchanging data on jailed gang members in the Yaphank and Riverhead correctional facilities with local police departments and prosecutors has led to the arrests of dozens of the machete-wielding thugs since he took office in 2018, Toulon said.

And he’s continued to allow federal agents of US Immigration and Customs Enforcement to have offices in county jails, a controversial practice set up by his predecessor, Vincent DeMarco, in 2016.

Toulon, now in his second term, was a Democratic candidate for sheriff in 2017 when Trump railed against the blood-thirsty gang in a speech at Suffolk Community College in July 2017.

And Toulon took those words to heart.

“We will find you, we will arrest you, we will jail you and we will deport you,” the former president said, just three months after MS-13 goons savagely massacred four high-school friends in Central Islip.

The victims— Justin Llivicura, 16, Michael Lopez Banegas, 20, Jorge Tigre, 18, and Jefferson Villalobos, 18 — were not involved with MS-13 but pretended to be, flashing the gang’s signs in social media photos to attract women.

Leniz Escober, a 17-year-old known as "Diablita" (the Little Devil) sought to curry favor with the gang by ratting out non-members who adopted MS-13 signs and symbols — and has now been charged with murder.Leniz Escober, a 17-year-old known as “Diablita” (the Little Devil) sought to curry favor with the gang by ratting out non-members who adopted MS-13 signs and symbols — and has now been charged with murder

They were allegedly lured to their deaths by Leniz Escober, a 17-year-old known as “Diablita” (the Little Devil) who sought to curry favor with the gang and had tipped them off to what the friends were doing, prosecutors charge.

She’s now on trial for murder.

“One of the ways this case was broken was the monitoring of Escobar’s phone calls with her boyfriend, who was on the inside,” Toulon told The Post, noting that Escobar’s boyfriend was an MS-13 gang member in a Suffolk County jail.

Toulon's overall goal is to build a countrywide network for sharing intelligence on jailed MS-13 members, which would allow him and Catalina to track gang connections between Suffolk County, LA and Washington, DC.Sheriff Toulon’s overall goal is to build a countrywide network for sharing intelligence on jailed MS-13 members, which would allow him and Undersheriff  Catalina to track gang connections between Suffolk County, LA and DC. Toulon, the first African American elected as sheriff in Suffolk County, is pictured above with Undersheriff Kevin Catalina, a former NYPD deputy chief and commanding officer of the department’s Intelligence Bureau.

“We are constantly monitoring data, interviewing inmates and sharing that data with our law enforcement partners.”

He said working with ICE and focusing on gathering intel has resulted in more MS-13 inmates in Suffolk County jails.

“When I started, MS-13 was the No. 4 leading gang in our facilities,” he said. “Now it’s No. 2,” with 23 members being held.

Justin Llivicura, 16, Michael Lopez Banegas, 20, Jorge Tigre, 18, and Jefferson Villalobos, 18 were not involved with MS-13 but pretended to be to attract women.Justin Llivicura, 16, Michael Lopez Banegas, 20, Jorge Tigre, 18, and Jefferson Villalobos, 18 were not involved with MS-13 but pretended to be to attract women

But Toulon’s decision to partner with ICE angered some Democrats and civil liberty advocates, who were concerned he would go back to demanding that federal immigration agents obtain warrants — a time-consuming task — if they wanted to detain an inmate set to be released by the county.

“The assumption was that Errol was going to end the detainer requests, and require ICE to go through the lengthy process of getting a warrant,” said Curtis Sliwa, a gang expert and Republican who ran for New York City mayor last year. “He said, ‘ICE is going to be in my jails so they can deal with MS-13 directly.’ That sent shockwaves throughout Long Island.”

The result is that many MS-13 members have moved out of Suffolk County and into Queens, Sliwa told The Post.

He said that when the NYPD tried to adopt the same measures and reached out to ICE in Queens, they were “immediately chastised.” Mayor Adams has “ordered all the local city agencies to have no involvement with ICE at all, which is too bad because ICE has the resources to track the gangs,” Sliwa said.

Toulon said he works closely with Suffolk County’s Undersheriff Kevin Catalina, a former NYPD deputy chief and commanding officer of the department’s Intelligence Bureau who joined Toulon’s staff in August 2018.

“For a long time in Suffolk County MS-13 operated with impunity,” Catalina, 54, told The Post. “After Trump and others put a spotlight on the issue, law enforcement hasn’t let up.”

Shortly after taking over as sheriff, Toulon traveled to El Salvador to consult with law enforcement on the gang, which started in Los Angeles in the 1970s among Salvadoran migrants and now has cells throughout the US. It was, he said, an eye-opening trip.

“I really got a better understanding,” he explained.

Toulon was shocked to learn that 78 Salvadoran cops had been killed in the first four months of 2018 by MS-13. He also learned that gang members practice torture in order to send a message to their rivals to stay off their turf.

“What we were able to do was establish a good relationship with them,” Toulon said, “and confer with them about what we were finding in Suffolk County.”

He had plans to travel to other Central American countries to forge similar alliances, but the COVID pandemic prevented him from leaving the country. He is now re-scheduling those trips.

Toulon’s overall goal is to build a countrywide network for sharing intelligence on jailed MS-13 members, which would allow him and Catalina to track gang connections between Suffolk County, Los Angeles and Washington, DC.

For Toulon, it’s all part of the promise he made to his constituents when he first ran for office in 2017: “We won’t back down when it comes to keeping this community safe.”

ISRAELIS WANT THE KID GLOVES TAKEN OFF IN THE WAR ON TERROR

Israel on High Alert as Public Demands Harsher War on Terror

School trips cancelled, many Israelis afraid to go out in public, and some towns are turning away Palestinian laborers

By Ryan Jones

Israel Today

March 30, 2022

The Israeli public is suddenly in “war mode” following a series of deadly terrorist attacks in recent days, and amidst fears that there’s more to come.

Schools have cancelled field trips, many local Israelis are afraid to go out in public, and a number of municipalities have said they will close construction sites to keep Palestinian laborers away.

In response to the situation, the Israel Police have raised their alert level and the IDF has deployed reinforcements to the security barrier between the so-called “West Bank” and Israel-proper.

Given that two of the recent attacks were carried out by Israeli Arabs, Prime Minister Naftali Bennett has also effectively declared on internal war on terror focused on those affiliated with the Islamic State (ISIS) and its teachings.

In Bnei Barak, where the latest terror attack happened on Tuesday night, and in several other locations protests broke out demanding that the government take harsher action against the nation’s enemies, both internal and external.

Likud demands Knesset reconvene

While Bennett was scheduled to convene his security cabinet on Wednesday to discuss the new wave of terror, the opposition Likud party is demanding that the entire Knesset reconvene to address the situation.

MK Yariv Levin sent a letter to Knesset Speaker Mickey Levy stating that parliament shouldn’t remain on recess under the present circumstances.

Forces raid Bnei Barak shooter’s house

The perpetrator of the latest terrorist attack that took the lives of five people in Bnei Barak on Tuesday night was identified as Diaa Hamarsheh, a 26-year-old Palestinian from the area of Jenin in the northern “West Bank.”

Overnight security forces raided the terrorist’s family home and arrested his brother. A number of other family members and acquaintances were questioned.

Reports indicate that a large mob of Palestinians gathered at the Hamarsheh home and clashed with Israeli soldiers. There were no reports of casualties.

TUESDAY'S DEADLY TERRORIST ATTACK IN TEL AVIV

2 Ukrainians, Arab Christian Among Dead as Israel Terror Wave Grows

11 people have been killed in just eight days as Palestinian and Israeli Arab terrorists go on the offensive

Bnei Barak is known as a bastion of the ultra-Orthodox Jewish community, but among the five people killed there in Tuesday night’s terrorist shooting were three non-Jews, including two foreign workers from Ukraine and a Christian Arab.

The other two fatalities were local ultra-Orthodox Jewish men, both fathers, who leave behind a combined six young children.

The shooter was a young Palestinian man from the area of Jenin in northern Samaria. Security camera footage showed him arriving on a busy street in Bnei Barak and calmly beginning to open fire on anyone who crossed his path.

The Christian Arab who died in the attack was Amir Khoury, the police officer who put an end to the slaughter by killing the terrorist. Khoury was later honored by Israel’s Chief of Police for sacrificing himself in defense of the nation.

The two Ukrainians who died were described as young foreign workers. They have at this time not been formally identified. It is not clear whether they were refugees from the current war in Ukraine, or had come here prior to Russia’s invasion of their country.

Wave of terror

The Bnei Barak shooting comes just days after two Israeli Arab terrorists opened fire in Hadera in central Israel, killing two young Border Police officers who were responding to the attack.

And that shooting came just days after an Israeli Arab Bedouin man stabbed and killed four Israelis in the southern town of Beersheva.

Two of the victims were identified as Yaakov Shalom, 36, and Avishai Yehezkel, 29, both ultra-Orthodox residents of Bnei Brak. That’s 11 dead in just eight days. For many Israelis, the fear of turning on the nightly news broadcast only to be confronted by reports of yet another attack is eerily reminiscent of the Second Intifada, when terrorist incidents became a common, almost daily occurrence.

DON'T MESS WITH MY BACON

by Bob Walsh

Regular readers might remember I wrote a while back about a California law which would greatly increase the cost and greatly decrease the availability of many pork and chicken products within the formerly great state of California.  This action was taken via a ballot initiative wanting to be exceptionally nice to farm livestock.

The law is being challenged in the CA Supreme Court by the National Pork Producers Council and the National Farm Bureau Federation.  They believe the law unreasonably interferes with interstate commerce.

Implementation of the law has been stalled due to other legal challenges.  The ballot initiative passed with 62% of the vote and sets minimum cage size standards for swine and chickens.  These standards would significantly increase costs and would apply to out-of-state producers who want to sell in CA.  Contrary to belief at the time by the PETA crowd these out-of-state producers have NOT been stampeding to comply with the CA law.  There is virtually zero production of pork within California.

CA STATE UNIONS PISSED THAT THEIR MEMBERS MAY ACTUALLY HAVE TO RETURN TO WORK

by Bob Walsh

Depending on what agency CA state civil service workers are now being told they have to get their happy asses back to the actual work site. The unions representing those employees are expressing their unhappiness.

CalPERS employees are now being required to put in three days per week in the actual office.  The Dept. of Industrial Relations and some CalTrans offices will be requiring two or three days per week in the actual office.  The State Water Project is shooting for May to get people back in the office.  The Air Resources Board and State Water Project are also moving in that direction.

The unions are calling these new mandates rigid, arbitrary and unnecessary.  They point out that for many state jobs telework has turned out just fine. The employer asserts that it is hard to monitor employee work if they are not actually there.  Also that some tasks are much better done in person, and that "office culture" interpersonal relationships and collaboration are achieved much more fully and effectively in an office setting.

The unions also point out that, early on in the pandemic, God-Emperor Gavin Newsom decreed that the state would offer permanent telework options for many employees to cut down on office space requirements and cut down on fuel consumption, traffic problems and other such horrible things.

The unions are also demanding that the state increase telework stipends to $100 per month.  (I didn't know people were getting paid extra to not come to work.)

This difference of opinion will no doubt get more unpleasant and louder as time goes by.

I WONDER IF HUNTER IS SWEATING IT YET ?

COPS AREN'T IMUNE FROM STUPIDITY AND VIOLENCE

by Bob Walsh

Sheriff's Deputy Abigail Bieber, 30, was on a vacation with her detective-boyfriend and other cops on Saturday in St. Augustine, Florida when something went sideways.  She was murdered by her boyfriend, Hillsborough Detective Daniel Layden, 31.  Layden then had the decency to kill himself and save the state the cost of a trial.  The two had been arguing immediately before the shootings.

Deputy Bieber worked for the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office.  Her two brothers are officers with the Clearwater P. D.

AND YOU THOUGHT YOU HAD A FUCKED UP FAMILY

by Bob Walsh

Montgomery County Alabama Sheriff's Deputy Cedric Law, 26, a 2-year veteran of the force, was shot Friday five times, by his father.

Deputy Law was riding in a car with his brother and their mother at about 3 p.m.  She had just been involved in a "domestic situation" at her residence with the deputy's father.  The three were driving towards the court to get a protection order when daddy rammed their vehicle, and then got out carrying a gun.  Deputy Law bailed out and told his brother and mom to drive away and attempted to engage with his father.  That didn't work too well and daddy started shooting.

Deputy Law caught five rounds and is in the hospital in critical-stable condition.  His father caught multiple rounds and is doing the dirt dance.

BIDEN TRUMPETS HIS 'FISCAL RESPONSIBILITY' WHILE HIS BUDGET LEAVES A WHOPPING $1.3 TRILLION IN RED INK, WHICH WILL ONLY FURTHER FUEL INFLATION

BIDEN-LOVING MEDIA'S MAD DASH TO PROTECT HIM FROM AN AVALANCHE OF DESERVED CRITICISM

Apologist press is ‘raving’ mad for Biden — but Americans say otherwise

By

New York Post

March 29, 2022

Then Vice President Joe Biden and his son Hunter. The Washington Post, just like the rest of the liberal media, attempted to bury The Post’s Hunter Biden exposé and defended the president's dangerous gaffe about overthrowing Putiiin

Anyone watching the media rush to defend President Biden’s weirdness in Warsaw is getting a free tutorial on the corrupt relationship between the press and this White House. The handmaidens’ mad dash to protect him from an avalanche of deserved criticism also helps explain why Biden’s presidency is a flop with voters.

To most of the world, including our European allies, Biden’s “this man cannot remain in power” remark in Poland was a clear call for ending Vladimir Putin’s rule in Russia. It was a dangerous surprise because the president was seemingly committing the United States and NATO to a radical policy of regime change against a brutal dictator who talks about using nuclear weapons.

Nothing approaching that policy had been mentioned previously, yet in the context of the speech and the war in Ukraine, there could be no other interpretation of Biden’s words.

His aides certainly heard it that way, which is why they immediately issued a clarifying statement that claimed Biden was “not discussing Putin’s power in Russia or regime change.” Secretary of State Antony Blinken went further, insisting there was no such American policy anywhere in the world.

Later, it became clear the reference about removing Putin was not in prepared remarks but was added by Biden on the fly.

If that had been the end of it, Washington would have moved on after a day or so and chalked up the detour as just another Biden-being-Biden gaffe.

But that was not the end of it. Instead, many of the media’s usual suspects seized on the president’s heated language to credit him as heroically expressing universal horror at Putin’s savagery.

CNN, The Washington Post, Newsweek and others published commentary hailing Biden’s cry from the heart, if not the head, as if they were praising a teenager for virtue signaling. It’s not that they necessarily favor regime change, it’s just that his outburst made them feel better.

Joe’s lame excuse

None of the apologists could top Daily Beast columnist David Rothkopf, who suggested Biden surpassed JFK’s “Ich bin ein berliner” speech and Ronald Reagan’s “Mr. Gorbachev tear down that wall” address. He found the remarks so stirring they reminded him of Winston Churchill’s remarkable “Iron Curtain” speech in Fulton, Mo., in 1946 that warned of the emerging Cold War with the Soviet Union.

Rothkopf, while conceding the White House walk-back on regime change, still saw virtue in what he called a “moment of clarity from the plain-spoken president” that “elevated his speech. It made it clear that Biden’s passion was deeply felt and real.”

Apparently seeing such unexpected praise as too good to resist, the White House suddenly shifted gears overnight and grabbed it like a drowning man grabs a life raft.

Now it, too, saw only virtue in Biden’s on-the-fly addition and the president on Monday made an appearance to defend the very remarks his aides had disavowed Saturday.

President Ronald Reagan's Berlin Wall address. One columnist compared President Joe Biden’s Warsaw speech to the likes of Ronald Reagan’s Berlin Wall “Mr. Gorbachev tear down that wall” address

“I was expressing the moral outrage that I feel, and I make no apologies for it,” Biden told reporters, as he held a cheat sheet with possible questions and his answers. He said he never meant to call for Putin’s removal and it was “ridiculous” for anybody to think he was.

“Nobody believes I was talking about taking down Putin. Nobody believes that,” he insisted.

Nobody except most of the world, and therein is the political problem for Biden and his team. Operating under the illusion that Big Media and its Big Tech fellow travelers represent the views of most Americans, they seem not to realize that the Amen corner reflects only an elite sliver of the country.

Approval keeps sinking

Put it this way: How is it possible there is only the most gentle and occasional criticism of Biden on any subject in the big newspapers, the broadcast media, CNN and MSNBC and on most of social media, while the president’s approval rating among all voters is in the toilet?

The CNN logo is displayed at the entrance to the CNN Center in Atlanta on Wednesday, Feb. 2, 2022.CNN is among those who have recently praised Biden’s efforts

The gap is enormous. The most recent Harvard-Harris survey has him with just a 39% approval rating and the Real Clear Politics average of polls in the last two weeks shows him at 41% approval, with 53% disapproval.

On the economy, his average approval is 37.5, with a 58% disapproval. On foreign policy, meaning mostly Ukraine, his approval is 40.7 and disapproval is 54.2. On immigration, it’s 34.4% approval vs. 57% disapproval.

Dem disaster looms

These numbers spell massive defeat for Democrats in November, yet policies that are widely unpopular remain in place as the general public is discounted while press support is overrated.

Recall that the administration’s preposterous effort to blame Putin for inflation, after a year of sharply rising prices on everything, was actually embraced by some in the press. The near-total collapse of border enforcement gets barely a mention in the media, except for accusations that anyone who wants an orderly, secure immigration system is a racist.

The pattern started before Biden took office, with the blackballing of The Post for daring to expose Hunter Biden’s influence-peddling schemes and his father’s hidden help the best example.

Gas prices are posted at the United Oil gas station in Los Angeles on March 23, 2022.President Biden blamed Putin for skyrocketing gas prices

Then came the deluge of crazy ideas from the far left wing, from packing the Supreme Court to making DC a state to wrecking the domestic energy sector, all of which found more support in the media than the general public. Even the few remaining moderate Dems balked at most.

Ditto for the spending monstrosity known as Build Back Better and the bid to have Washington control all election laws, an effort that demonized states as “Jim Crow 2.0” if they dared to require voter identification.

Biden’s vile accusation that anybody who opposed the measure was on the side of George Wallace, Bull Connor and Jefferson Davis remains a low point of his presidency. Yet even that smear was no bar to his lapdogs.

Every politician, of course, wants and seeks media acclaim. But the smart, successful ones understand the public no longer trusts most of the media and that lockstep support from the press can be a kiss of death. Somebody should tell Joe Biden.

A Pennsylvania man fatally shot a father of four as he tried to unload his gun while stopped at a red light, police said.

Lloyd Amarsingh, 28, has been charged with third-degree murder in the Friday morning shooting that he claims was accidental, the Philadelphia Inquirer reported.

Amarsingh, of Darby, told detectives he pulled out his gun and tried to unload it while stopped at an intersection in Upper Darby, but the weapon went off accidentally as he tried to remove a live round from the chamber, according to an affidavit of probable cause for his arrest.

The weapon fired from Amarsingh’s white Audi A4 and struck Jim Hunt, 56, of Havertown, who was also at the intersection in a white Mercedes Sprinter, WPVI reported.

Amarsingh then sped through the red light, according to the affidavit, and responding cops later found Hunt slumped behind the wheel of his van while the vehicle was still running.

Hunt, who was shot once in the head, was later pronounced dead at a hospital, WPVI reported.

Amarsingh surrendered to cops hours after the shooting. In addition to third-degree murder, he was charged with involuntary manslaughter and possessing an instrument of crime.

Investigators initially considered the shooting an apparent road-rage incident, the Inquirer reported Friday.

Amarsingh turned himself in to cops after contacting an attorney, Upper Darby Police Superintendent Timothy Bernhardt said, adding that Hunt was on his way to work at the time of the deadly shooting.

Amarsingh’s relatives declined to speak with reporters, according to CBS Philadelphia. A friend of Hunt, meanwhile, told the station he was struggling to process his death.

“It’s mind-boggling because he’s not confrontational,” friend Joe Rufo said. “He really is not a confrontational guy, so for something like this to happen, it really blows me away.”

Amarsingh is being held without bail at a jail in Delaware Cunty and has a preliminary hearing April 6, WPVI reported.
