Sheriff's
Deputy Abigail Bieber, 30, was on a vacation with her
detective-boyfriend and other cops on Saturday in St. Augustine, Florida
when something went sideways. She was murdered by her boyfriend,
Hillsborough Detective Daniel Layden, 31. Layden then had the decency
to kill himself and save the state the cost of a trial. The two had
been arguing immediately before the shootings.
Deputy Bieber worked for the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office. Her two brothers are officers with the Clearwater P. D.
RIP sister.
