Kamala Harris channels Al Stewart in BIZARRE 'passage of time' comments leaving Internet in splits
Harris, 57, reiterated the phrase four times in a matter of less than 30 seconds during remarks following an event in Louisiana, Monday, March 21.
Kamala Harris was trolled on social media after a viral clip showed the Vice President bizarrely making repetitive comments regarding the apparent "significance of the passage of time."
Harris, 57, reiterated the phrase four times in less than 30 seconds during remarks following an event in Louisiana, Monday, March 21, on the Biden administration's efforts to provide high speed internet to smaller towns in America. Harris was introduced by Louisiana's Democratic Governor John Bel Edwards before she gave what appeared to be an off-script opening to her speech.
"The Governor and I and we were all doing a tour of the library here and talking about the significance of the passage of time. Right?" Harris said on Monday. "The significance of the passage of time," she repeated. "So, when you think about it, there is great significance to the passage of time in terms of what we need to do to lay these wires, what we need to do to create these jobs," Harris continued. "And there is such great significance to the passage of time when we think about a day in the life of our children and what that means to the future of our nation, depending on whether or not they have the resources they need to achieve their God-given talent," she added.
Conservatives shredded the veep on social media following her remarks.
"Biden really should get her permission to put someone else in charge of border security. There has been too much passage of time with nothing being done," Georgia Rep. Austin Scott tweeted.
"I’m sad that no one taught me about the significance of the passage of time. The passage of time is so significant, I’m significantly disappointed at the passage of time for not teaching me more about the significance of the passage of time," conservative speaker Kangmin Lee quipped.
"WH staff (probably): It is really important you stick to the message today. Kamala (probably): Yeah, I know. I got it. Kamala: the significance of the passage of time… WH staff: *facepalm*," former Trump spox Erin Perrine joked, describing a satirical scenario.
"The only “passage of time” I care about is the one that takes us to the end of Joe Biden’s presidency," political commentator Samantha Marika offered.
"'There is such great significance to the passage of time, and that time is every day,'" Townhall editor Guy Benson wrote, combining two of the veep's gaffes into one.
During a visit to Poland earlier this month, the Vice President was criticized for laughing in the wake of a serious war and refugee crisis sparked by Russia's invasion of Ukraine. Harris appeared to laugh off questions about the refugee crisis during a press conference in Warsaw on Thursday, March 10. She dodged questions regarding why a deal for sending fighter jets to Kyiv did not materialize, and critics ripped into her conduct at the presser alongside Polish President Andrzej Duda.

She may be even more stupid that Joe Biden. Probably not as senile, but more stupid. I wonder who writes for her. Whoever it is should be fired.
