As Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu departed for Washington on Sunday, a group of wounded IDF veterans issued a powerful open letter urging him to stay the course in Gaza and finish the war with nothing short of “absolute victory.”

The Wounded Warriors Forum, composed of soldiers injured after October 7, shared the letter across social media platforms on Sunday. Their message was clear: “Absolute victory in Gaza is not an option—it’s a necessity.”

The letter describes how its members fought in tunnels, rescued comrades under fire, and searched for hostages—paying both physical and emotional prices. “We were wounded in order to win,” they wrote.

The group voiced frustration with how the war has been managed, criticizing the IDF for withdrawing from positions only to retake them at high cost. “Any deal that returns Hamas to power or gives it breathing room is a betrayal,” the letter stated.

They also condemned calls to let Gazans return to all parts of the Strip, noting that “everyone was a partner in murder, looting, and terror” of October 7, 2023.

Their appeal ends with a striking demand to Netanyahu: “Don’t bring promises, bring victory. There won’t be a second chance.”

The forum, representing hundreds of injured soldiers, advocates for a total strategic shift: occupation of Gaza, the dismantling of Hamas, and long-term Israeli security.
