A few days ago somebody took some shots at a guy here in Stockton. That is in and of itself not unusual. So, the almost victim and his brother decide to go over to the suspected shooters house at about 0230 on Saturday morning to have some sort of undescribed confrontation with the suspected shooter. Nobody answers the door and as the brothers walk away somebody opens fire on them from the back yard of the house, wounding one of them a couple of times.
I can’t but think that there was a good deal of substance abuse impairment or these two are amongst the stupidest people to ever walk on God’s green earth. I can understand why they didn’t call the cops when one of them got shot at. That is SOP in many parts of Stockton. You might call an ambulance if you need one, the Fire Department is cool, but nobody calls the cops. The thing is, why in the world would you walk up to a guy’s house at 0230 if you think he took shots at you previously, and then why would you turn your back on the house as you walked away.
Ignorance is truly at times invincible.
