Letitia James, the Attorney General for New York, has launched her investigation into the tax exempt status of the National Rifle Association. This action was a lot of the cause for the trouble at the NRA convention in Indianapolis.
The liberal asswipes in New York have hated the NRA for a long time and want to curb the organizations considerable political influence. The NRA filed a lawsuit against Governor Andrew Cuomo last year after the state went after the insurance broker that underewrites the NRA Carry Guard insurance plan, to the tune of $7 million.
Liberals sure hate opposition.

Something stinks at the NRA. When Oliver North steps down there must be a reason. Maybe it's time for Wayne LaPierre to step down.
LaPierre should have been thrown out in 1984 when the NRA opposed banning "cop-killer bullets." That led me to drop my membership in the NRA.
The ruckus between North and LaPierre will diminish the power of the NRA and embolden gun control advocates like Cory Booker and Kamel Harris.
