13-YEAR OLD DOUBLE MURDER SUSPECT ESCAPES FROM N.C. COURTHOUSE

by Bob Walsh

I am guessing the security at the Robeson County, N.C. juvenile court house is going to be increased or at least evaluated fairly soon. A 13-year old suspect, identified only as Jericho W., accused in a robbery and double murder, beat feet successfully from the courthouse on Tuesday.

The young man has an extensive record of violence and unpredictable behavior and is thought to be a significant danger to the public.

While at the court he was wearing a white t-shirt, tan pants and no shoes. He was wearing leg irons but no other restraints.

EDITOR'S NOTE: Leg irons? How cruel! This is just a poor child in need of attention. His prior behavior was just a cry for help.

UPDATE/CORRECTION. The young killer escaped from the social services building and NOT the court house. They are still refusing to print his full name, but have no problem showing mug shots and a physical description.
