Rep. Ilhan Omar has come under fire and been accused of anti-Semitism after sharing a tweet implying that American billionaire investor Leon Cooperman is backing Mike Bloomberg for President simply because he is Jewish.
The Democratic Congresswoman from Minnesota was slammed for her tweet shared Saturday where she tweeted a news post saying Cooperman announcement that he'd support fellow billionaire Bloomberg in his race for the presidency.
She shared the tweet saying: 'I wonder why' with a thinking face emoji.
Both men are billionaires and Jewish. However, the tweet reignited accusations of anti-Semitism.
'I suppose you think it's all about the Benjamins,' Michael Dickson, the executive director of Stand With Us, a group that fights anti-Semitism, said in response. 'We get your insinuation. True to form.'
'Omar very carefully making an anti-Semitic tweet with just enough vagueness to claim that ackshually [sic] she meant it was about the benjamins and not about religion. But everyone knows what she meant, which is why she continues to do it,' Twitter user Josh Jordan wrote.

No reason why she should not continue to be an in-your-face anti-Semite. There is no reason to believe it will have a negative effect on her electability.
A sad story of a woman who could have been a unifying force. When Omar announced her candidacy, she came across as rational, albeit liberal who would unite her district. Many progressive Jews supported her and "raised Benjamin's" for her. Instead, she has turned out to be a rabid anti-Semite, who hates Jews and does not miss an opportunity to re tweet an anti-Semitic trope.
This is especially tragic, because the Jewish community is tight with the Somali community in her district and she could have been a trailblazer, but she is now a train wreck and a disgrace.
