The impeachment hearings are starting this week. The Republicans submitted a list of witnesses to Adam Schiff, including Hunter Biden and the whistleblower, who they want to call for the hearings.
Schitt (oops, typo) quickly rejected their request. Here is what he wrote to the Republicans:
“The impeachment inquiry, moreover, has gathered an ever-growing body of evidence -- from witnesses and documents, including the President's own words in his July 25 call record -- that not only confirms, but far exceeds, the initial information in the whistleblower's complaint. The whistleblower's testimony is therefore redundant and unnecessary. In light of the President’s threats, the individual’s appearance before us would only place their personal safety at grave risk. The committee also will not facilitate efforts by President Trump and his allies in Congress to threaten, intimidate and retaliate against the whistleblower who courageously raised the initial alarm.”
As for Hunter Biden, he wrote:
“This inquiry is not and will not serve as a vehicle to undertake the same sham investigations into the Bidens or 2016 that the President pressed Ukraine to conduct for his personal political benefit.”
In my opinion, the Republicans are right in wanting the testimony of the whistleblower and Hunter Biden. The whistleblower started all this shit and it centers around the president wanting Biden investigated for corruption. It remains to be seen if the Biden investigation is a sham investigation. I seriously doubt the President will get a fair hearing since Little Adam Schitt is an ardent Trump hater.

This is clearly a kangaroo court. Anybody who does not have their head up their ass can see it. The dems want a old-style Soviet Show Trial. If Schiff and his cronies are willing to run roughshod over the house they may even get it, at least at that stage. They are so DESPERATE to throw mud on Trump to interfere with his electability that they are willing to look like fools and risk loosing control of the House if they can make that happen. Of course it is also possible that they are deranged enough they actually believe their own bullshit. It will be real interesting to see what the FISA and Criminal Russia Probe reports have to say when they come around.
