Wall of Vets angered by the brutal beating of a Navy veteran in Portland joins forces with the Wall of Moms and the Wall of Dads to defy federal forces with a crowd of more than 4,000 protesters on 58th day of unrest

Tensions continued to boil over in Portland between federal agents and law enforcement Friday night. 

 

A new 'Wall of Vets' (top) joined the Wall of Moms and Wall of Dads outside the federal courthouse as night fell, saying they formed after shocking footage showed federal agents tear gassing and beating a Marine veteran in Portland last week. 

 

Thousands of demonstrators gathered at the courthouse and Justice Center chanting 'feds go home' before the night descended into chaos again with Trump's men tear gassing the crowds and protesters pushing at the fences protecting federal buildings. 

 

This came hours after US prosecutors Friday said 18 Portland residents have been charged over the escalating standoffs this week and a US judge denied efforts by Oregon to stop feds arresting people during the nightly protests.
