Steven McLamb, 49, picked the wrong target in a grocery
store parking lot in Raleigh, N.C. on Tuesday. The beef apparently
started in a "road rage" incident and McLamb followed a woman into the
store parking lot. When both cars stopped he exited his vehicle, walked
up to his target's car and attempted to enter the car. He was
unsuccessful as the woman shot his happy ass, killing him deader than
dogshit.
There is
fortunately good quality surveillance video and the cops are quite
convinced that the woman's story is essentially accurate. There were
also a fair number of witnesses. The woman was in legal possession of
the weapon and is not being charged.
