A 9-year-old child shot a 6-year-old child in the head at a home on Shady Pine Street on Jacksonville's Westside.
A six-year-old boy has been shot dead by a nine-year-old in Jacksonville, Florida, on Monday.
The incident occurred around 2:45 p.m. at a home on Shady Pine Street South in the Duclay neighborhood
Police believe an adult was present with the children.
Assistant Chief J.D. Stronko from Jacksonville Sheriff's Office said the victim, who was shot in the head, was taken to hospital but tragically died.
No charges have been filed against the adult and police have not identified the people involved.

A great many of these incidents were not really accidents (IMHO). The shooter deliberately aimed at someone else and pulled the trigger. I grant you that sometimes the rugrat may not have known it was a real gun, but still .........
