3 pistols with bullets

The fifth time was a charm.  The legislature of the formerly great state of California has, on the fifth attempt in ten years, passed a 11% excise tax on guns and ammo.  The bill, AB 28, got the minimum required 2/3 vote.  This money will, in theory, be used to fund "violence prevention efforts."

The God-Emperor of California, Gavin I HATE GUNS AND GUN OWNERS Newsom, has not yet signed it.

Various gun rights groups have already announced plans to sue to stop the new tax from going into effect.
