IN TEXAS IT DOESN'T PAY TO BE CRUEL TO ANIMALS

New Texas law bars animal cruelty offenders from owning animals for five years

The law bans those convicted of animal cruelty, including those involved with dogfighting, from owning any kind of animal for five years after their first criminal offense.

Glori Penshorn pleaded no contest to felony animal cruelty in Wilson County on March 28, 2022 and, as part of her sentence, she received 10 years probation and is not allowed to possess animals of any kind
