John C. Drake Jr., 38, is on the run after he allegedly pulled a handgun on the officers outside the store on Stones River Road in La Vergne, Tennessee, on Saturday

John C. Drake Jr, 38. is the son of the Chief of Police of Nashville. He is also the suspect in the shooting of two La Vergne, TN. cops.
This went down about 20 miles outside of Nashville in the parking lot of a Dollar Tree store yesterday. The officers, Ashely Boleyjack and Gregory Kern got into a tussle with Drake, who pulled a gun, shot them both and then fled. Both officers are likely to survive and one has already been released from the hospital.
The
younger Drake is a multiple offense criminal and convicted felon who,
as one might expect, has had only minimal contact with his dad in
several years.
