Gavin Newsom, the God-Emperor of the formerly great state
of California, has been pretending and pronouncing that the state is
looking at a paltry budget deficit of $38 billion dollars. Chump
change. The Legislative Analysts Office has just come out with new
numbers. That non-partisan office used to think we were under water
about $68 billion. They are now asserting it is more like $78 billion.
But don't worry, we still have plenty of money to pay for health care
for undocumented democrats, so it's all good.
It
certainly isn't going to help Gavin's chances to step in as savior
when-if Biden crashes and burns between now and the convention.
