Ebony Parker faces eight felony child neglect charges

Any consumer of news will remember the six-year old that shot teacher Abigail Zwerner about a year ago in Virginia.  A special grand jury has just brought a criminal indictment against Ebony Parker, 39, assistant principal of the Richland Elementary School, reckless disregad for the well-being of the students in her care on January 6 of last year.  She is facing a total of eight felonies.  Parker and a pile of other administrators are already on the wrong end of a civil actin by Zwerner, claiming $40 million in damages.

The assertion is that the suits were specifically told the rugrat was likely in possession of a gun.  Parker was, again allegedly, the suit that made the decision to NOT search the rugrat for a gun.  Several teachers warned Parker that the kid had a gun at recess.

Deja Taylor, the boys mother, is doing two years as a guest of the people for felony neglect and weapons charges relating to the shooting.
