WHAT WE HAD HERE WAS A FAILURE TO COMMUNICATE

Sheriff denies officers intentionally charbroiled ex-cop cop-killer Christopher Dorner, but officers on the ground at the time shouted “Burn that fucking house down, fucking burn this motherfucker”

Christopher Dorner’s war against the LAPD finally came to an end on Tuesday near Big Bear. After a gun battle and standoff, the sicko psycho ex-cop cop-killer was charbroiled when the cabin in which he had barricaded himself had been set on fire by highly incendiary CS gas canisters.

(Use of CS gas by LAPD in 1974 also burned down the Symbionese Liberation Army hideout in Los Angeles and use of CS gas by the FBI and ATF in 1993 burned down the Branch Davidian compound in Waco, Texas.)

During a press conference on Wednesday, San Bernardino County Sheriff John McMahon denied that officers had intentionally set fire to the cabin in which Christopher Dorner had barricaded himself. McMahon said: "I can tell you that it was not on purpose, we did not intentionally burn down that cabin to get Mr. Dorner out. The tear gas canisters that we used - first off we used a presence when we showed up, a cold tear gas, then the next tear gas was pyrotechnic, which does generate a lot of heat. We introduced those canisters into the residence and a fire arose."

But on Tuesday during the final confrontation, police scanners picked up officers shouting:

__“Burn that fucking house down. Going to burn it down. Get it going right now.”

__"Fucking burn this motherfucker."

__"We're gonna go forward with the plan, with … with the burn."

__“Shoot the [CS] gas.”

After killing a Riverside police officer, a San Bernardino County sheriff’s officer, the daughter of a former LAPD captain, her college cop fiancé and threatening to kill 50 LA cops and their families, I don’t blame the officers for wanting to exterminate this vermin. Good for them!

It looks to me like what we had here was a failure to communicate. The Sheriff and his officers were not in sync … thank God! With the charbroiling of Dorner, California’s taxpayers were saved the astronomical costs of a very long trial, endless appeals, and maintaining that worthless piece of excrement as he roosted on the state’s death row for decades.
