DRUNKEN TEXAS WOMAN USES HER HEAD DURING JAIL BOOKING, BUT IN WRONG WAY

Kori Hope Jackson is now facing a felonious assault charge for headbutting an officer while being booked on a simple charge of public intoxication

I am fairly certain that when Kori’s parents and teachers told her to always use her head, they did not mean for her to headbutt a cop. For using her head, the cops piled on a bunch of other charges.

A 21-year-old Mansfield woman was released from jail Monday after spending a night behind bars for allegedly headbutting a detention officer while being booked for public intoxication.

Kori Hope Jackson was charged with assault on a public servant -- a third-degree felony punishable by two to 10 years in prison and a $10,000 fine -- after she became combative while a jailer was attempting to remove her jewelry as part of the booking process, according to an arrest report.

Jackson told the jailer, "It's my ring, take it and I will kill you," before eventually using her head to strike the side of the officer's head, according to the arrest report.

In addition to the felony assault, Jackson was charged with resisting arrest, public intoxication and disorderly conduct for offensive language, all misdemeanor charges.

Jackson was released from the Brazos County Jail after posting $14,800 bail.
