Daniel Cunningham, 33, makes
poor choices. He decided to run from the cops yesterday, the same thing
he did last week. He had among other things a domestic violence issue
and was considered a parolee-at-large (PAL).
He
took out seven cars at the intersection of Florin and Greenhaven in
Sacramento yesterday, killing some poor bastard who was just going on
about his business. Cunningham then tried to flee on foot, without much
success.
He is currently a
guest of the people on the PAL charges as well as vehicular homicide.
It is even possible that he will be kept in custody pending trial,
though that is far from a sure thing in CA. Public safety has pretty
much zero consideration in decisions to let people out pre-trial in CA.
If he has a "good" record of showing up for court he could get out.
