Letitia James, the maybe
embattled New York State Attorney General, may have an even bigger
problem than we knew. She has apparently been allowing a niece of hers
to stay in the North Carolina home that is the focus of her mortgage
fraud issue. The problem is the young lady is a fugitive.
She
caught a misdemeanor beef that she was found guilty of, and got
probation with conditions. She instead fled and has NOT even attempted
to deal with the conditions of her probation. Apparently-allegedly
there is a warrant out for her arrest.
I wonder if they could go after James for harboring a fugitive? I sort of doubt it, but it is an amusing idea.
