FLORIDA SUPREME COURT OVERTURNS DEATH SENTENCE BECAUSE KILLER HAD A SHITTY CHILDHOOD

By Bob Walsh

There is no question that Terrance Tyrone Phillips, who was 18 at the time, murdered two people. However, the Florida Supreme Court, by a vote of 5-2, has determined that his death sentence is "disproportionate" because he isn't too bright, has a learning disability and a speech impediment and had a shitty childhood.

Phillips was a hired shooter who blasted two men in a robbery plot. On Christmas Eve of 2009, when the murders took place, he was a tad over 18 years and 5 months old.

Phillips will instead face life in prison. Justice Charles Canady, who is on Trump's short list for SCOTUS, strongly dissented from the majority decision.

EDITOR’S NOTE: Life in prison? Why that poor soul shouldn’t even be locked up at all. .
