WILL TRUMP BACK THIS REPUBLICAN CANDIDATE LIKE HE DID ROY MOORE?

A white supremacist running unopposed in Illinois for Congress, went on a shocking racist tirade when challenged on whether he was a Nazi.

Holocaust denier, anti-Semite and former member of the American National Socialist Workers Party, Arthur J. Jones, appeared on CNN on Thursday where he was questioned about his extremist views.

'It is shocking to hear how vocally and unapologetically racist you are,' CNN's Alisyn Camerota told him. 'Are you a Nazi?'

The 70-year-old, of Lyons, Illinois, insisted he's not a Nazi but then went onto defend his appalling views in a furious tirade.

'I don't call myself a Nazi, I call myself an American patriot and statesman,' he responded.

'You Jews media, you've gone absolutely nuts!'

Camerota then pushed Jones on his campaign website which features images of him speaking at KKK and neo-Nazi events, giving a Nazi salute and shredding a flag of Israel. It also claims that the Confederate flag was a 'White counter revolution' and 'white resistance'.

'Your website is filled with the most vile, rancid rhetoric I think I've ever read,' the anchor told him.

'It's one man, myself, that's standing for the truth,' Jones shot back. 'There's nothing on that website that's not true.

'It's one man, myself, that's standing for the truth and the news media can't stand that. The Democrats and Republicans, it's the cursed two party, Jew party system can't stand it!'

Camerota then asked him about his extraordinary claim that he denied the Holocaust.

'Yes I deny the Holocaust, it's an extortion racket!' the increasingly hysterical would-be politician shouted.

The CNN journalist, who remained calm while Jones began yelling over her, told him: 'You can have your own conspiracy theories, but you can't have your own facts.'

'Not conspiracy theories, facts! The Jews basically control the country, the Congress, the economy the media,' Jones replied.

When Camerota began talking about Adolf Hitler orchestrating the genocide of Jewish people, Jones interjected 'Poppycock!'

The racist continued ranting incoherently until the New Day anchor decided to wrap up the interview by informing Jones he was going to lose.

'You have a long track record of losing,' she told him. 'You lose virtually everything that you run for.

'For congress, for mayor...You will lose this race.

'Chances are, you'll go down in flames.'

Jones, the former leader in the American Nazi Party, is the sole candidate in the Republican primary for the seat that includes parts of southwest Chicago and surrounding suburbs and towns.

He has run for several political offices but hasn't gotten as far as the primary in the 3rd District.

'Well first of all, I'm running for Congress not the chancellor of Germany. All right. To me the Holocaust is what I said it is: It's an international extortion racket,' Jones said in another interview, with the Chicago Sun-Times.

The retired insurance agent was surprised to find that he was the only candidate for the primary.

'And given the fact that I've got no opposition in the primary, OK, I win that one (the primary) by default all right,' Jones added.

But party Republicans have already began distancing themselves away from Jones.

'The Illinois Republican Party and our country have no place for Nazis like Arthur Jones,' Tim Schneider, chairman of the Illinois Republican Party, said.

'We strongly oppose his racist views and his candidacy for any public office, including the 3rd Congressional District.'

But Jones only mocks the party for being unable to stop him.

'Well, it's absolutely the best opportunity in my entire political career,' he shared with the Chicago Tribune.

'Every time I've run it's been against a Republican who follows this politically correct nonsense.'

Jones now is in charge of a group called the America First Committee.

'Membership in this organization is open to any white American citizen of European, non-Jewish descent,' he said.

The Anti-Defamtion League has been closely following the man for years.

'Arthur Jones, who proudly displays Holocaust denial, xenophobia and racism on his blog and website, has a long history of hateful, extremist and anti-Semitic views,' said Lonnie Nasatir, the regional director of the Anti-Defamation League Chicago-Upper Midwest Region, said to the Chicago Sun Times.

'For example, in 2009, he protested the opening of the Illinois Holocaust Museum and Education Center, and continues to espouse absurd conspiracy theories questioning the deaths of millions of Jews.

'He has spoken publicly at numerous neo-Nazi rallies and events, expressing xenophobic policies based in racial and religious hatred. He is, by every definition, an anti-Semite and unrepentant bigot.'

Jones claims to have served in the Vietnam War and proudly boasts of his parent's service in World War II.

'My father like so many others fought because he thought it was a service to his country,' Jones said.

'If they had seen what was going to happen … (despite) all their sacrifices, he and a lot of others wouldn't have put their lives on the line.'

He also isn't a supporter of integration and interracial dating, pausing when asked if minority groups should be given the right to vote.

'I don't believe in equality — period,' Jones added.

Jones will likely face either Representative Dan Lipinski, D-III, or his challenge in the Democratic primary, Marie Newman.

EDITOR’S NOTE: Jones does not have a snowball’s chance in hell to take this Illinois Democratic district. But if he had a chance, I wonder if Trump would back him like he did Roy Moore.
