PROOF THAT EVERY L.A. CITY COUNCIL MEMBER IS A KOOK OR HIGH ON POT

L.A. City Council Votes To Ask MLB To Award 2017, 2018 World Series Titles To Dodgers

The Los Angeles City Council voted unanimously Tuesday to ask the commissioner of baseball to award the Dodgers the 2017 and 2018 World Series titles after Major League Baseball punished the Houston Astros for cheating and continues to investigate the Boston Red Sox for possible misconduct.

The resolution, co-sponsored by Councilmen Gil Cedillo and Paul Koretz, originated after Commissioner Rob Manfred released a nine-page report on Jan. 13 detailing how the Astros used technology in violation of baseball rules to steal opposing teams’ pitching signs during the 2017 season.

Both councilmen said the resolution is symbolic and represents a larger ideological fight. With President Trump impeached and wealthy families facing charges in the college admissions scandal, Koretz said he hopes the resolution sets an example that cheating shouldn’t be tolerated.

EDITOR’S NOTE: What a crock of shit! Instead of wasting time on a meaningless resolution, the city council’s time could have been better spent on trying to solve L.A.’s huge homeless problem.

The council members knew there is no way in hell the commissioner would ever consider awarding the championships to the Dodgers. Even though they were victims of cheating, the Dodgers could very well have lost to the Astros and Red Sox without the foul play.

And that crap about not tolerating cheating … this is not Japan with its traditional Bushido code of honor. Cheating is the American way! You can bet your life that each of those L.A. city council members has cheated, and more than once, in their lives.

I think that I should be awarded the title of Sexiest Man Alive, retroactive for the last ten years.
