INTERESTING COVID-19 OUTBREAK IN ITALY

by Bob Walsh

There has been an interesting outbreak of the Coronavirus, now properly known as Covid-19, in a group of small towns in Italy. There are about 150 infected people in a group of five towns, with three known deaths.. The interesting thing is that the authorities have no idea who Patient Zero is for this cluster. There is a lot of tourist activity in Italy at this time of year and it is completely possible that a non-symptomatic patient traveled thru, spreading the virus, and that some of the people are in fact secondary infections.

The outbreak led to the famous Venice Carnival being shut down two days early and two cluster areas near Milan and Venice being quarantined.

I had a friend who caught a raging case of Crabs in Italy. He blamed it on dirty military barracks hot racking on double shifts. This was not a isolated case. He told his sergeant that he had the Crabs and needed to go to the infirmary. The Sergeant replied, Who doesn't?
