Police arrested dog owner Christian Moreno following the attacks.
A walk thru the neighborhood ended very badly for an elderly couple in a west San Antonio neighborhood on Friday afternoon.
An
80-year old man was killed in a dog attack in San Antonio, TX today.
An elderly woman who was walking with the man was significantly injured
by the dogs. In addition two fire fighters were somewhat injured by the
dogs. The firefighters however were young and in good physical
condition and didn't mind whacking the dogs with Halligan tools.
The
two dogs that participated in the attack and in custody in quarantine.
A third dog at the owners house was also taken into custody as it was
not restrained.
The dogs
and the owner were known to the authorities due to a biting complaint
from two years ago and several animal neglect calls.
Not all threats move on two legs.
