Last Friday a man sitting on his porch drinking coffee in
Groom Creek, AZ, near Prescott, was killed about 0800 by a bear.
Deputies were called by neighbors. They responded and killed the bear
which was still hanging around. That act didn't do the dead guy any
good.
If you live in the
boonies, or even semi-boonies, where you have bears, big cats and even
coyotes or dog packs to deal with it is not to have a gat handy,
preferably something with some punch. Just saying.
