Hunter Biden was a member of an elite Los Angeles sex club but was kicked out for being a 'scumbag,' the club's founder has reportedly claimed.

Damon Lawner, who opened the exclusive Snctm but sold it in 2019, was banned from the venue after he publicly identified the president's son as a former member.

The claim about Hunter was included in a profile of Lawner published in the Los Angeles Times on Tuesday.

A spokesperson for Snctm told the LA Times it has a policy of never identifying its members and that any infringement of the rules results in a lifetime ban.

The publication said Lawner made the claim that Hunter had been a member of the club after he had reached a plea deal with federal prosecutors this week.

Joe Biden's controversial son will go before a judge next month to formally strike a plea agreement with prosecutors on tax and gun charges that will likely spare him time behind bars, according to court documents posted Wednesday.

Lawner, 52, founded Snctm in 2013 with the intention of creating a sex playground for LA's elite, ranging from Hollywood stars, musicians, high-ranking business figures, city officials and millionaires.

Lawner told the newspaper that he decided to open the club after watching the Tom Cruise movie 'Eyes Wide Shut,' in which wealthy elites gather for a secret orgy.

At the time, he was $1million in debt, but the club soon gained popularity. Its guest lists were carefully curated, and its membership fees were as high as $75,000.

In the publication's recent profile on Lawner, he speaks of putting on masquerade parties in mansions and nightclub in the city.

But after five years, Lawner said he decided to sell the club on to new owners because his lifestyle had ruined his relationship with his family.

He told the LA Times he has since attended events, but only to show friends what it was like inside - and lifted the lid on one of the club's members, breaking a tabboo.

'Hunter was a member at Snctm and I canceled his membership after 1 party because he's a scumbag,' he wrote on Instagram in a now-deleted post.

The current ownership of the elite club took issue with his claim and banned him from its events that he once hosted.

'Posting what I did on my Instagram about Hunter was me letting people know that the type of behavior that he exhibited was something that upsets me,' Lawner told the LA Times after its reporters followed up with him. 'I knew that the consequences could be me not being part of Snctm anymore, but I was willing to take that risk.'

He said he was not fazed by the ban, saying he wanted no part in the club anymore.

A spokesperson for Snctm told the publication that 'we neither confirm nor deny the identities of past or present attendees.

'We uphold a strict code of conduct to protect our members' safety and privacy, and any infringement leads to a lifetime ban.'

Members pay up to $50,000 to live out their wildest fantasies at SNCTM's Eyes Wide Shut-style sex parties

A basic membership in Snctm costs $20,000 a year, while the special "Violet Key membership" for male members is a one-time payment of $1 million

Hunter is set to go before a judge next month to formally strike a plea agreement with prosecutors on tax and gun charges.

The move will likely spare him from prison.

U.S. District Judge Maryellen Noreika must still approve the plea agreement that was reached following a lengthy federal investigation.

It calls for the president's son to plead guilty to two misdemeanor counts of failing to pay taxes. Hunter Biden also must commit to court-imposed conditions that will spare him full prosecution on a felony gun charge.

The hearing is scheduled for July 26 as a combined initial appearance and plea agreement.

News of the plea deal broke on Tuesday, sparking criticism from Republicans who are pursuing their own congressional investigations into nearly every facet of Hunter Biden's business dealings, including foreign payments.

Attorney General Merrick Garland, traveling in Stockholm on Wednesday, said David Weiss, the U.S. attorney for Delaware, was given 'full authority to decide the matter as he decided was appropriate. And that's what he's done.'

Former President Donald Trump and other Republicans have pointed to the case to raise questions about Justice Department independence as Trump faces a historic criminal indictment of his own.

The charges against Trump were filed by a special prosecutor appointed in an effort to avoid any perception of a political conflict.

The Hunter Biden charges, meanwhile, were filed by U.S. Attorney Weiss, who was appointed by Trump and kept on during the Biden administration to continue the investigation, some aspects of continue.

Noreika was also appointed by Trump, in 2017.

Hunter Biden's lawyer has said the guilty pleas are an effort to take responsibility for mistakes that he made 'during a period of turmoil and addiction in his life,' and his understanding is that it wraps up the five-year investigation of his client.
