Midsummer Day 2023
This coming Wednesday is Midsummer Day. This year the solstice will occur at 1058 a.m. EST.
Since
time immemorial humans have celebrated the coming of the sun on this
day, when the sun is highest in the sky. The day is the longest, and
consequently the night is the shortest. People get drunk and get
crazy. Kind of like Democrats pretty much every day of the year.
I hope you all remember to sacrifice a cat or some other equally useless animal to the sun god at dawn on Wednesday. Enjoy.
