The God-Emperor of the formerly great state of California
(and possibly our next El Presidente) has agreed to send some CHP
officers and some license plate readers to the crime-ridden and
gang-infested open sewer that is Oakland. This response was made at the
request of the Oakland P D and the Alcalde of Oakland, Sheng Thao.
They
will be getting six whole CHP officers and one Sergeant, who will deal
with traffic enforcement on State rights of way. The governor is also
loaning Oakland $1.2 million to install license plate readers, the
number of which has not been specified.
Cal
Brooks, the Deputy Director of the Anti Police-Terror Project in
Oakland, voiced concern that the CHP will not play by the same rules as
the Oakland PD. Oakland does not stop vehicles for "low-level" issues
like broken lights and no tags. Brooks assured The San Francisco Pravda
(sometimes known as the Chronicle) that "Police do not solve violence,
they bring more violence."
Much
of the Oakland City Council still babel about "solving the root causes
of crime" rather than wasting all the money on enforcement. It's now
wonder that Oakland is an open sewer.
