A SoCal legislator is preparing to introduce a bill that would
decriminalize turnstile jumping (fare evasion) within the formerly great
state of California. I wonder if he would also vote to 100% fund
public transit from taxes or if he expects that morons (honest, straight
citizens who believe in paying their way) will just pay extra to cover
the thieves? It would still be illegal but there would be no effective
criminal penalty for doing so.
