Marjorie Taylor Greene often receives backlash for candidly expressing her opinions on social meida

ROME, GEORGIA: On September 4, Adam Rawnsley and Asawin Suebsaeng wrote an article on Rolling Stone titled, ‘Inside MTG and Kari Lake’s ‘Death Race’ To Become Trump’s VP’. Two days after this article was published, Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene reacted to it.

Greene was unimpressed with the article by Rolling Stone and claimed that she has “never talked” to them, nor do they (Rolling Stone) have any idea about the way Greene thinks or feels.

Greene took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to elaborate on her thoughts about this piece. As Greene defended herself, the internet wasn’t too impressed with her, and have instead mocked her relentlessly for the same.

Marjorie Taylor Greene says Kari Lake is her ‘friend’

On X, in response to the Rolling Stone article, Marjorie Taylor Greene wrote, “I’ve never talked to the Rolling Stone nor do they have any clue about the way I think and the way I feel. Quoting un-named sources means nothing more than creating the story themselves.”

Greene also added, “The media wants to weaken Republicans by dividing us. Not gonna let that happen! @KariLake is one of my great America First Allie’s and friend. We can’t be divided, we are on the same mission.”

Greene shared a screenshot of the Rolling Stone article, which contained a small part, which when elaborated stated, “Marjorie Taylor Greene and Kari Lake have been locked in what one source close to Donald Trump describes to Rolling Stone as a “death race” to become his 2024 vice presidential pick.”

Marjorie Taylor Greene’s defense backfires

In response to Marjorie Taylor Greene slamming Rolling Stone while defending herself, people on the internet poured in with backlash. One person wrote, “Thanks for bringing attention to the story and confirming it is true,” while another said, “You are already divided. Oh, we all know how you attempt to think.”

“You never stop talking so how doesn't everyone know how you think? You literally post dozens of times a day about your thoughts and opinions. It'd be easy to write a book about you just from your Tweets/posts on social media,” wrote one person.

People also continued to thank Greene for “confirming” the Rolling Stone article, writing, “Thank you for confirming the story.” Another person wrote, “I'll believe the Rolling Stone over you any day of the week.”

The backlash against Greene continued as one user said, “Are you kidding??!! You’ve literally made a career out of disinformation!!”
