Blogger Centurion blasted me for my treatment of Carrie Prejean in yesterday’s posting and suggested “we just leave the girl alone.” Why should we? She is the one who touted her Christian faith to the Miss USA pageant, to the pageant’s television audience and during numerous television interviews afterwards.
Prejean sued the officials of the Miss California pageant after they stripped her of the title she had won. The explicit “solo sex tape” she had made of herself surfaced during the trial and effectively ended her case against the officials. She got nothing out of a settlement, other than to get stuck with bills from her lawyers
Because of publicity about the sex tape(s), Prejean has now cancelled her book tour, her keynote speech to the New Jersey Family Policy Council, her appearance in an invitation-only event at the National Republican Club of Capitol Hill, and numerous radio interviews.
In Prejean’s just released book "Still Standing: The Untold Story of My Fight Against Gossip, Hate, and Political Attacks,” she writes about pornography and her feelings on the tape that surfaced during the lawsuit. "Our bodies are temples of the Lord. We should earn respect and admiration for our hearts, not for showing skin to look sexy ... I have since learned that your outer beauty can only get you so far in life,” she wrote.
It’s too bad Prejean only learned that lesson when the raunchy sex tape she made of herself cost her any chance of winning that lawsuit against the Miss California pageant officials.

Book em Danno....
I for one am perplexed by the level of your outrage. I mean.....two articles?
Whether it be still pics....or video.....or phone sex....or whatever...I for one find the men who exploit sex equally culpable and equally outrageous.
I mean....those who seek out pics and links and video and then send them to their friends create and actually perpetuate the problem.
I mean...there probably wouldn't be a market for sexual images if certain men didn't find them titilating enough to save, ogle, and transmit them to their friends and contacts.
You wouldn't know anyone who does this, would you Howard?
I mean....let him who is without sin...

Is this really the direction you want to take your blog? I mean....can we move on?
I've never claimed to be virtuous to anyone, least of all to a world-wide television audience.
It's not the lack of virtuoisity.....
But rather the hypocracy......
___________
My point is that one who seeks this stuff out and sends it on to others probably shouldn't be so quick to condem those who creats it. For many of us, still pics vrs. a video isn't significant.
Anyway.....we anxiously await "FOUR-FLUSHING PHONY (3)"
