NEWS FLASH: ROOKIE ARLINGTON COP AXED

Officer Brad Miller, 49, was fired today for shooting unarmed Christian Taylor, 19, at an Arlington car dealership last Friday.

Arlington Police Chief Will Johnson said: "Based on a preponderance of evidence available to me and facts revealed by the investigative team, I have decided to terminate Officer Miller’s employment with the Arlington Police Department for exercising poor judgment."

Johnson said that Miller used poor judgement in approaching Taylor alone. Taylor ran toward Miller but there was no physical contact between the two before he was shot.

Thus ends the short-lived law enforcement career of a 49-year-old rookie cop. Miller could also face criminal charges after all the facts become clear.

You should avoid screwing up in public while on probation. It can be hazardous to your future employment.
