Lorenzo Antoine Cruz, 23, of Sacramento, was shot to death in February by members of the Rocklin P.D. Cruz was, at the time, armed with an airsoft pistol which had been painted over so that it did not appear to be a "toy." He had just recently broken into a home in Rocklin. When the cops confronted him he refused to drop the gun and in fact pointed it at the cops in an apparent bluff. It didn't work. The D. A. just said that it was a justifiable homicide.
Life is hard. It is harder and shorter if you behave stupidly.
