New York police are searching for a group of young men accused of assaulting two fellow passengers after an argument on the subway turned violent.
A wild brawl broke out on the J Train in Manhattan's Lower East Side shortly after 9pm on Friday after 53-year-old, who got on the train at Bowery station with a 30-year-old friend, asked another man to stop taking up two seats.
The passenger taking up the seats made room, however the 30-year-old the argued with the alleged seat-hogger and his six friends, NYPD said in a statement.
It was then that the incident took an ugly turn, as the group allegedly began beating the two men.
Police said the 30-year-old was repeatedly struck in the head with a hammer, while the 53-year-old was allegedly kicked in the face and chest.
The suspects were then able to escape from the train at the same station, according to the NYPD statement.
Both of the victims in the alleged beating were taken to a nearby hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
NYPD released pictures of four of the suspects, all of whom are black and in their early 20s.
Police believe the other two, non-pictured suspects, are the same.
EDITOR'S NOTE: If you're not a racist, you'll believe that black gentleman was carrying a hammer because he is a carpenter.

If you can't afford a car service, don't go to New York City!
This would not happen in Houston, Dallas or San Antonio. Texans don't ride the subway because we don't have them. Besides everyone is armed. Open and concealed.
