Tiffany Li, 35, has friends. She is accused of conspiring with two friends to knock off her boyfriend to sideline custody issues. She has been a guest of the people of Marin County since her arrest, but she didn't like being in the slammer. She managed to come up with a modest amount of cash (a few million) and over $60 million in property as bail. (She couldn't find a bondsman who could, or would, cover the $35 million). In CA if you use property to cover bail you have to have property that is valued at twice the bail amount.
Her two alleged co-conspirators are still in the slammer. I wonder how they feel about that.
Ms. Li lives in Hollsboro and her family lives in China, where they are stinking rich. Its nice to have friends, especially rich ones.
