There was a special election for a seat in congress yesterday for a district in Montana. The polling was very close. However, the Republican candidate, Greg Gianforte, won.
The interesting thing about this election was that, on the evening before the election, Gianfore fucked up an arrogant, pushy liberal journalist asshole. Bodyslammed him and broke his glasses. The asshole shoved a mictophone in his face and screamed a couple of questions at him, which pissed him off, so Gianforte reacted inappropriately but understandably.
As a result two of the three major newspapers in Montana withdrew their endorsements and the local sheriff filed a misdemeanor battery complaint against Gianforte. But he still won. By 6%. His Democrat was a professional folk singer named Rob Quist.
Gianforte later apologized for slamming the liberal weenie.
If I remember correctly members of congress can not be arrested for misdemeanors while congress is in session.

The media brought this on themselves. They are drowning and nobody cares. Print media is on it's last breath. I don't care what they try President Trump is going to do things his way. He doesn't care and the media doesn't get it. The people that voted for him get it. He wants what is good for the USA.
