IS KAMALA HARRIS DESTINED TO BECOME PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES?

Kamala Harris is the daughter of a black Jamaican immigrant father and a mother who immigrated from India

Much is being made of Kamala Harris being the first black woman vice presidential candidate, but she is the offspring of a black Jamaican immigrant father and a mother who immigrated from India.  Like Barack Obama, that makes her only half black.

Her father was a prominent economics professor at Stanford University.  He and Kamala's mother divorced when she was seven after which she lived with her mother.

Kamala is married to Douglas Emhoff, a Jewish lawyer, and is a mother to his two white children from a previous marriage.

Harris has been a strong supporter of BLM.  When she made a joint appearance with Biden after he picked her as his running mate, Harris referred to the BLM movement as the "coalition of conscience,"  Whereas she had formerly been protective of the police, Harris is now a warrior in the war on cops.  Right after George Floyd's death, Harris participated in the BLM protests that took place in the nation's capital. She has stated that “There is a problem that we need to solve.  And the problem is that we have American lives that have ended at the hands of excessive force and police brutality.”

In June, Harris co-sponsored the Democrats' Justice in Policing Act that among other things would ban police from using chokeholds and no-knock warrants, set a national use-of-force standard and create a national police misconduct registry.

Harris has also been an outspoken opponent of the death penalty.  In 2004 when she was the District Attorney of San Francisco, Harris refused to seek the death penalty against David Hill who had murdered Police Officer Isaac Espinoza with an assault rifle and wounded his partner, Officer Barry Parker.  Espinoza's death had been the first killing of an on-duty San Francisco officer in 10 years.

In February 2019, when she was running for president, Kamala told Charlamagne tha God that she’s smoked weed and supports legalizing pot.  When the Breakfast Club host asked her about about accusations that she opposed legalization. she replied:

“That’s not true.  Look, I joke about it, I have joked about it. Half my family is from Jamaica. Are you kidding me?”

That thoroughly pissed off Kamala's father.   He wrote to the Kingston-based website Jamaica Global Online, saying:

“My dear departed grandmothers (whose extraordinary legacy I described in a recent essay on this website), as well as my deceased parents, must be turning in their grave right now to see their family’s name, reputation, and proud Jamaican identity being connected, in any way, jokingly or not with the fraudulent stereotype of a pot-smoking joy seeker and in the pursuit of identity politics.  Speaking for myself and my immediate Jamaican family, we wish to categorically dissociate ourselves from this travesty.”

Kamala also shacked up with a married Willie Brown to get ahead in politics.  At the time, Brown was the Democratic speaker of the California State Assembly.  She was 30, he was 60.  For being his lover, the philandering Brown presented Harris with a BMW.

The Democrats frequently bashed Trump for cheating on his wives.  Now that they have a candidate who shacked up with a married man, the bashing of Trump for being sexist should come to an abrupt end.

Harris is an experienced and tough campaigner.  She will be an asset to the Biden campaign.

I predict that if elected, the 77-year-old Biden will either croak in office or be declared mentally incompetent before his term ends.  That would make Kamala president of the United States.

If Biden does win, the voters are also likely to give Democrats control of the Senate.  With Kamala Harris as president and a Democratic controlled Congress, marijuana will be legalized and capital punishment will be abolished,

Assuming the Biden-Harris ticket is elected Harris will almost certainly become the 47th President of the United States, and possibly even the 46th President. I think it unlikely that Biden will be able to complete his first term as President and may not even make it to inauguratin.
