BLM organizer justifies looting as reparations
By Howie Katz
BLM held a demonstration early Monday in front of Chicago's South Loop police station to support the more than 100 looters who were being held there after having been arrested during Sunday night's riot along Chicago's Magnificent Mile where an Apple store, Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus, Nike and a Best Buy, among many others had benn ransacked and looted.
BLM organizer Ariel Atkins defended the looters. Here is what she said:
“I don’t care if someone decides to loot a Gucci or a Macy’s or a Nike
store, because that makes sure that person eats. That makes sure that person
has clothes. That is reparations,. Anything they wanted to take, they can take it because these businesses have insurance.”
And that's why Colin Kaepernick calls the rioters freedom fighters.
