On the day after Christmas Cerida Charon, 65, was minding
her own business in the University Community Park in Tampa.  She was
knocked off a bench in the park and then stomped.  She was robbed.  Her
attacker stole her purse, then returned a few minutes later and stomped
her some more just for fun and stole her shopping cart.  The cops
arrested Antonio Gueits, 18, later that day.  There is some decent
quality surveillance footage of the attacks.
Gueits
has admitted to the attack.  Charon was able to provide only limited
info to the cops, but she died on March 16 from her injuries.  The
quasi-human suspect is now being charged with felony murder.
Prosecutors are attempting to keep him in the slammer pending trial as a
public safety issue.  He has a significant criminal history.

Sounds like a Capital Case to me.
