Katie Porter, one of the legion of Democrats running for Governor of the
formerly great state of California, has announced that it is time to
put a stake into the heart of the so-called California High-Speed Rail
Authority. The project is currently something like 8X over budget,
years past completion, has not hit ONE of it's performance requirement
benchmarks, and has yet to lay one mile of track.
