Yesterday
a man who overstayed a visa by more than two years attacked a number of
people in Boulder, Colorado with a do-it-yourself flame thrower
arrangement. Nobody died but several people are hospitalized, a couple
of in serious condition, including one holocaust survivor.
The asshole in question, Mohamad Sabry Soliman, 45, will be arraigned on eight counts of attempted murder later today.
The
people he attacked were participating demonstration in favor of getting
the Israeli hostages released in Gaza. It was completely peaceful, at
least on the part of the demonstrators.
As
much as it bothers me I am starting to think that the folks holding
these demonstrations need to start planning more seriously for physical
security.
