Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard confirmed that the intelligence community has found more secret documents related to the possible links between the Trump 2016 presidential campaign and menacing Russia forces that dogged the president's first term.

'We are finding documents literally tucked away in the back of safes in random offices, in these bags and in other areas — which, again, speaks to the intent of those who are trying to hide the truth from the American people,' Gabbard said.

She added that the documents revealed the 'politicization' of intelligence led by Director of the Central Intelligence Agency John Brennan and Director of National Intelligence James Clapper that led to 'immeasurable harm' to the American people.

Trump questioned Gabbard about the new documents that were discovered and also hinted that there were new documents surrounding the 2020 election.

'Mr. President, I will be the first to brief you once we have that information collected,' Gabbard said.

'We look forward to hearing it. The public looks forward,' Trump replied.

An administration source confirmed to the Daily Mail that the documents found by the intelligence community were separate from the documents found by FBI Director Kash Patel, as the investigation continues.

Since publicly raising the existence of these documents, Gabbard has alleged that intelligence was politicized and manipulated to justify a years-long effort to undermine her boss' 2016 victory.

However, some legal experts and bipartisan bodies have pointed out that while errors and procedural misconduct occurred within the FBI’s investigative process, no conclusive evidence has surfaced proving a coordinated conspiracy to fabricate intelligence or subvert the 2016 election results.

Nonetheless, Gabbard has promised that transparency will drive 'true accountability,' earning her plaudits from the president, who described her as a 'bigger and bigger star every day.'

Patel recently announced on Fox News that he uncovered 'thousands and thousands of Russia hoax documents' inside burn bags found in a secret room at the FBI Hoover Building.

A burn bag is a government tool used to burn, shred, and destroy classified evidence.

Other hard drives with secret documents related to the case were discovered, Patel revealed, prompting him to turn over the documents to Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley.

Patel said he could not confirm or deny what information was in the bags but that they included documents from former FBI officials connected to what Trump officials call 'Russiagate.'

It remains unclear what specific actions the Senate committee might take or whether any of the documents will eventually be made public, given their potentially classified nature.
