The CA Republicans are this morning making yet another proposal to split CA in half, leaving the more liberal coast alone and creating a new state composed of pretty much everything else. It has essentially zero chance of going anywhere. But it will get a fair bit of ink and air time for a day or three.
EDITOR'S NOTE: Apparently those imbecile Republicans don't realize their proposal would leave 90 percent of California's wealth in control of the Democrats.
