ETHNIC STUDIES IS AMERICAN STUDIES ... AT LEAST SORT-OF

The Stockton Unified School District has decided that ethnic studies ARE American History and that you can take ethnic studies classes to fulfill the mandatory American History class requirement.  I have some doubts about that, but it might work.  It also might not work.  

According to the U.S. Census Bureau San Joaquin County is probably the most ethnically diverse county in the country.  

 

EDITOR'S NOTE: What a crock of shit. Ethnic studies is not American history and under no circumstances should ethnic studies be allowed to fulfill the mandatory American History class requirement.
