WOMEN COPS MORE HONEST THAN MALE COPS?

Male cops are being replaced by women cops in some parts of Mexico to stop police corruption

Police corruption is endemic in Mexico. Many cops are on the payroll of drug cartels and have been known to act as assassins for the cartels. A close law enforcement friend, who specializes in auto thefts, tells me that many Mexican police cars are cars that have been stolen in the U.S. And many Americans who were stupid enough to take their cars to drive in Mexico, have experienced police traffic stops where they had to empty their wallets in order to avoid being jailed.

According to Borderland Beat, officials in the nation’s central State of Mexico have hired hundreds of female officer and declared that only they may issue traffic violations because ladies in uniform are more trustworthy than men.

Carlos Ortega Carpinteyro, police chief of the Mexico City suburb Ecatepec, explained that “Women are more trustworthy and take their oath of office more seriously. They don’t ask for or take bribes. However, Diana Mendez reports that she had to pay a bribe to a woman cop in order to keep her car from being impounded. “I had to pay her the 200 pesos.”

Carpinteyro seems to be turning to women cops for sexist reasons as much as for fighting police corruption. He says, “When a man is approached by a female cop, even though he is the stronger sex, he calms down and will listen to her.”

In my opinion, it won’t be long before those women cops will be just as corrupt as the male cops. Money talks, bullshit walks! Some of the women cops might even do some moonlighting as drug cartel assassins. And as for women cops calming down the men they confront, I don’t see that flying in the macho culture of Mexico.

You are right. Last week I was in a class put on by the Feds about Cartel violence. It doesn't matter if the police officer is male or female because if they can't bribe them, then they (the cartel) will threaten them with death and violence to their family. It's a no win situation. Law and Order in Mexico is a joke. The only reason the Cartels are allowed to operate is because the entire Mexican government is corrupt from top to bottom.

Not just in Mexico. In the last few years more ICE agents, Border Patrol and local police along the border have been arrested for taking bribes and escorting drug loads than ever before. Recently 2 members of a New Mexico HIDTA Team were arrested for taking bribes and giving out names and addresses of U/C personnel. Families had to be moved because of the threat. The spill over is already here.
